Adana based two Trade Chambers linked with the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka

As an initiative made by the Mission with the assistance of Mr. Besir Ugur, Hon. Consul of Sri Lanka to Adana, the Mission arranged a preparatory virtual meeting with the Presidents of Adana based two prominent Trade Chambers namely Mr. Atilla Menevşe, President of Adana Chamber of Commerce Mr. Zeki Kıvanç, President of Adana Chamber of Industry & Mr. Nandika Buddhipala, President of the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka on 15.03.2021.  

During the virtual meeting Ambassador Hassen while conveying sincere appreciation to three Trade Chambers for the positive response for connecting Sri Lankan and Turkish business community in coming weeks through business networking and business matchmaking session, invited two Trade Chambers to seek the possibility of entering into a Memorandum of Understanding. Three Presidents of Chambers during their remarks showed their keen interest of organizing virtual networking sessions and connect with potential Turkish and Sri Lankan companies. Further the interest was shown on signing a Memorandum of Understanding between Sri Lankan and Turkish Chambers for long-term mutual benefits. Ambassador of Turkey to Sri Lanka Ms. Demet Şekercioğlu, and Mr. Besir Ugur, Hon. Consul of Sri Lanka to Adana and the President of “Turkey- Sri Lanka Business Council” attended the virtual meeting and praised the three Trade Chambers for connecting each other to explore more potential between both countries.
