Ambassador Calls on Director General of Security of Interior Ministry of Republic of Turkey

Ambassador M.R. Hassen paid a courtesy call on Mr. Mehmet Aktaş, Director General of Security under the Interior Ministry of Republic of Turkey on 11^th June 2021.

Ambassador & Director General, exchanged views on enhancing cooperation between both countries’ law enforcement offices, perhaps police forces. Also discussed on the progress of the pending Agreement on Security Cooperation between Sri Lanka & Turkey.

Ms. Gajithra Navan, Second Secretary of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Ankara, Ms. Betül Elif Uğramaz, Public Relations Officer of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Ankara, Mr. Volkan İmişci, 1st Class Chief of Police, Head of Foreign Relations Department of Directorate General of Security, and Mr. Zeki Yıldız, Commissar also joined the meeting.
