Ambassador Calls on Minister of Industry and Technology of Republic of Turkey Mustafa Varank

Ambassador M. Rizvi  Hassen paid a courtesy call on Minister of Industry and Technology of Republic of Turkey Mustafa Varank, today (25/02/2020) at his office in Ankara. During the meeting Ambassador and Minister stressed the importance of expediting the process of signing of the Agreement of Reciprocal Promotion and Protection of Investment between Sri Lanka and Turkey which will be a platform of connecting Sri Lankan and Turkish Investors and business community. Further the Ambassador request the Ministry of Industry and Technology to seek the possibilities of connecting Turkish Industrial Zones with Sri Lankan Export Processing Zones and share the experiences with Sri Lankan respective authorities. Ms. Yoshitha Jayasuriya, Counsellor ( Commerce) of the Embassy accompanied the Ambassdor for the courtesy call.
