Ambassador calls on Prof. Dr. Yusuf Tekin, Rector of Haci Bayram Veli University

Ambassador M. Rizvi Hassen met with Prof. Dr. Yusuf Tekin, Rector of Haci Bayram Veli University, Ankara and exchanged views on establishment of interaction between Haci Bayram Veli University, Turkey and Sri Lankan Universities through exchange programs for both students and academics. Dr. Yusuf Tekin elaborated faculties of University and procedures of enrolling foreign students. There are around 35,000 students studying at the University at present including 1000 foreign students. The Haci Bayram Veli University is the one of the oldest university in Turkey established in 1923. Faculties of Literature, Fine Arts, Law, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Communication, Theology, Modern Arts and Design, Tourism are the key faculties of the University.
