Ambassador M. Rizvi Hassen following his presentation of Credential to the President of Turkey H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdogan invited the Sri Lankan community living in Ankara, senior officials of Asia Desk of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Turkey including nominated Ambassador of Turkey to Sri Lanka Ms. Demet Sekercioglu and Turkish friends of Sri Lanka for a cocktail at the Chancery on 03rd October 2019. Ambassador speaking to gathering said the Mission has planned many events to reach out the Turkish business community to increase trade between two countries and explore investment opportunities and added that Mission will use social media network to promote Sri Lanka in Turkey. Ambassador also exchanged views on enhance connectivity among Sri Lankans living in Turkey and accredited countries to assist them whenever they require assistance from the Mission.
