Ambassador M.R.Hassen presented letters of Credence

Ambassador M. Rizvi Hassen presented letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of Turkey H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on 03rd October 2019 at Presidential complex.  Ambassador prior to the credential ceremony inspected a tri forces guard of honour traditionally arranged for new Ambassador presenting credential at Presidential Complex. The spouse of the Ambassador Husna Hassen, Ambassador’s son Tuan Raqeeb Hassen, Ms.Gajithra Navam, Head of Chancery and Ms. Yoshitha Jayasuriya,  Counsellor ( Commerce) accompanied the Ambassador the at the ceremony and the audience with the President  Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. An hour long audience with the President Erdogan Ambassador conveyed the greetings of the President H.E. Maithripala Sirisena and the Prime Minister Hon. Ranil Wickremesinghe and exchange views on enhancing bilateral political relations and trade, investment, cultural and defence relations between Sri Lanka and Turkey.  The Chief of Protocol of the President palace, Chief of Staff of the President, Presidential spokesperson and Director General of the South Asia Division joined the President at the audience.
