Ambassador M. Rizvi Hassen accredited to Georgia presented his credential  to H.E. Salome Zourabichvil, President of Georgia on 6th December 2019 at Atoneli Presidential Palace, Tbilisi, Georgia. During the reception held subsequent to the ceremony Ambassador Hassen conveyed greetings of H.E. Gotabaya Rajapaksa, President of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and Hon. Mahinda Rajapaksa, Prime Minister of Sri Lanka to the President of the Georgia.  The Ambassador before the credential ceremony paid a courtesy call on the Head of Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Khatuna Totiadze at the Ministry. Ambassador on the sidelines of the credentials ceremony also met Head of Enterprise Georgia, Head of Patrol Police of Georgia, Head of Department of Trade Development and International Relations, Mr. Giorgi Pertaia, President of Georgian Chamber of Commerce, Prof. Zurab Vadachoria, Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University and Faculty members and paid a site visit to Georgian Public Service Center, a one stop shop for public service delivery system.  Ambassador at an invitation of the Sri Lanka Student Union at Tbilisi State Medical University attended at the annual “Ceylon Ball 2019” get together and musical show organized by the Sri Lankan students studying at the University.  Nearly 200 Sri Lankan students currently following various degree programmes in the University.
