Delegation from the Embassy by the Ambassador visits the Industrial Zone in Sincan, Ankara

On the invitation of the Chairman of Ankara Chamber of Industry (ASO),Mr. Nurettin Özdebir, the Ambassador M. Rizvi Hassen accompanied with Mr. Emin Berk, Commercial Assistant of the Mission visited the Sincan Ankara Industrial Zone which is established and operated by Ankara Chamber of Industry which is the biggest Industrial Chamber in Ankara.  The Zone is managed by the Ankara Sincan Industrial Zone Managemnt Ltd. President of the ASO, Mr. Nurettin Özdebir and Mr. Serdar Tütek, Board Member of the Industrial Zone Management and the General Manager of the Serdar Plastics accompanied the Ambassador throughout the programme.

In the beginning of the programme, the Sri Lankan and ASO Delegations met up at the Directorate of the Industrial Zone and were briefed information on the structure and operation of the Zone.

Subsequently the delegations made site visits to prominent industrial companies in the Industrial Zone namely; Bozankaya, Nurol Machinery, Vestel Defense Industries, Serdar Plastics and Hidromek.

During these productive visits, the delegations obtained valuable information on the manufacturing processes and the products of the mentioned companies.
