Ambassador M. Rizvi Hassen and the staff of the Embassy spend a day with students of Yusuf Karaman special education center in Çankaya on 21.02.2020. The Embassy staff served Sri Lankan food and gifts for children and shared experiences with teachers on looking after children of disabilities and requires special care. The Principal of the center Ms. Saadet Kasapoglu, teachers and the parents participated at the event appreciated Embassy’s effort for making student enjoy the day. There are 33 students need special care currently looked after by 35 teachers and assisting children for their studies. Yusuf Karaman special education center is one of the government schools in Cankaya and a special unit established at the Ministry of National Education in Turkey to operate schools for children need special care.
