Revoking of the Mandatory requirement of an ETA for tourists visiting Sri Lanka

The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Ankara wishes to inform that the Department of Immigration & Emigration of Sri Lanka has revoked the decision regarding the implementation of the mandatory ETA requirement, with immediate effect, until further notice.

Accordingly, Turkish, Georgian and Ukrainian tourists can now obtain Visas (ETA) On Arrival at the Port of Entry, in Sri Lanka, as was done previously.

However, visitors under the Business Visa category are still required to obtain an ETA prior to their arrival in Sri Lanka.

Any inconvenience that might have been caused due to this, is much regretted.
