Meeting with head of Turkey - Sri Lanka Parliamentary Friendship Group

Ambassador M.Rizvi Hassen paid a courtesy call on Chairman of the Turkey-Sri Lanka Parliamentary Friendship Association Ahmet Hamdi Camli  on 10th November 2019 at the parliamentray complex, Ankara.

At the outset of the discussion Chairman Ahmet Hamdi Camli extended his greetings and wish the success to the newly elected President of Sri Lanka H.E . Gotabaya Rajapaksa and exchanged views on enhancing bilateral exchanges between Sri Lanka paliamentarians and Turkish parliamentarians. He also noted that historical and longstanding relations between the two countries. Ambassador briefed the Chairman on the status of the 2nd Joint Committee on Economic and Technical Cooperation meeting (JCETCM) which to be held in Colombo and assured that he and the Turkey-Sri Lanka Parliamentary Friendship Association will assist Sri Lanka and work towards betterment bilateral relations.
