Necmettin Erbakan University of Turkey and Eastern University of Sri Lanka Establish Links for Future Collaboration

A fruitful virtual discussion between Necmettin Erbakan University of Turkey and Eastern University of Sri Lanka was organized by the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Ankara on 6^th April 2022 to prosper the educational relation between two nations and create opportunities to more joint researches, symposiums, staff and student exchanges.

Speaking at the occasion, Prof. V. Kanasingam, Vice Chancellor of the Eastern University provided a detailed briefing on the history of the Eastern University and briefed about the collaboration areas that Necmettin Erbakan University of Turkey and Eastern University of Sri Lanka can work on.

Academic staff of Necmettin Erbakan University shared information about the academic programmes and expressed the university’s willingness to establish contact with the Eastern University, student and academic exchanges, organizing joint symposiums and engage in joint research work.

During the opening remarks, Ambassador Rizvi Hassen highlighted the importance of establishing contacts between Necmettin Erbakan University of Turkey and Eastern University of Sri Lanka.

Further, two sides explored the possibilities of entering into a Memorandum of Understanding.

Senior academic staff of Necmettin Erbakan University of Turkey and Eastern University of Sri Lanka attended for the meeting and shared their expertise on collaborations.
