IFMA (International Federation of Muaythai Association) Youth World Championship was held in Antalya, Turkey from 28th September to 06h October 2019. Ms. Sandamali Roshini Kumari Rajanayake student of Pallebowala Maha Vidyalaya, Hanguranketha won Silver Medal in under 36-38 weight class and age group  14-15 years, Master Keshan Nuwan Bandara student of the Model school, Hanguranketha won the bronze medal  under 81 overweight class in the age group of 14-15 years and Master Danuka Malinda, student of  Rambukpitiya Maha Vidyalaya, Navalapitiya won bronze medal under 50-52 weight class in the age group of 12-13 .   Ms Gajithra Navan, Second Secretary/ Head of Chancery and Ms. Wajira Dias, Consular officer visited Antalya on behalf of the Ambassador of Sri Lanka Ankara to cheer Sri Lankan team and gave encouragement to the Sri Lankan participants. Meanwhile a parallel event held during the main event of the Muaythai following participants won gold, silver and bronze medals.
