Sri Lanka Offers Free Tourist Visa (ETA) Facility for Turkish Nationals

The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Ankara is pleased to announce that the Government of Sri Lanka has introduced a Free Tourist Visa (Electronic Travel Authorization – ETA) facility for nationals of the Republic of Türkiye.

Accordingly, all Turkish nationals are eligible to apply for a 30-day Free Tourist Visa (ETA) for short-term travel to Sri Lanka for tourism purposes.

All Turkish nationals intending to visit Sri Lanka for tourism are kindly advised to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA), free of charge, prior to their arrival in Sri Lanka through the following official website, with effect from 25 May 2026.
