Sri Lanka traditional dance performances in Ankara

Sri Lankan Embassy in Ankara with the assistance of Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau organized series of Sri Lankan cultural performances at the “Armada” shopping complex situated in the city center of Ankara parallel to the EXPO Travel Ankara fair from 14th to 17th November 2019. The dancing troupe “Sri Lanka Narthana Nikethanaya” staged traditional dance performances at the events. A large crowd flocked to witness the dance performances and to taste “Ceylon Tea” served during these events.  The event is organized in line with the Embassy’s new approach to enhance awareness on Sri Lanka’s tourism attractions, culture and Ceylon Tea and other unique products from Sri Lanka among general public in Turkey.
