Undergraduates of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University successfully completes internship at Turkish Aerospace Industries Academy

Undergraduates of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University were invited by the Turkish Aerospace Industries Academy for the SKY Global 2022 International Internship Programme which lasted 3 weeks from 25^th July 2022 to 12^th August 2022. 5 undergraduates from Sri Lanka Air Force successfully completed their internship.

The Embassy expresses sincere gratitude and thanks to the Chairman of Turkish Aerospace Industries Prof. Dr. Rafet Bozdogan, the Chief Executive Officer Prof. Dr. Temel Kotil and the Rector of TAI Academy Prof. Dr.  Ahmet Pınarbaşı for their invitation extended to the undergraduates of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University.

The exchange programme was initiated subsequent to Secretary of Defence’s visit to 15th International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF) between 17-20 August 2021.
