Pure Ceylon tea attracted a large number of visitors to the Sri Lanka stands at the World Food Istanbul Trade fair which held from 1st to 4th  September 2022 in Istanbul. Sri Lanka was represented in the fair with a total of 5 companies.

Ceylon Tea Land (Pvt), Ltd Ranfer Group,   Damro Exports (Pvt) Ltd, Heritage Teas (Pvt) Ltd, Ceylon Tea Marketing (Pvt) Ltd.  displayed their products at the Sri Lanka stand with prominent Turkish companies and the foreign companies visited the fair.

The Embassy also arranged tea tasting event for the visitors throughout the fair at the Sri Lanka pavillion.

The World Food Istanbul Trade fair is the largest Food Products and Technologies Fair in Eurasia, attended by manufacturers, buyers and suppliers from 40 countries. It was held with the support of Turkish Ministry of Trade, KOSGEB, IHBIR, Turkish Cooks Association, Gastronomy Tourism Association and World Gourmet Society (WGS).
